Hey Everyone! I feel like last weeks email was pretty heavy so I wanted to lighten things up a little bit by telling you about some of the funny things about Paraguay, the reasons I like being here. To start, there are chickens everywhere here, like every piece of chicken I have eaten here was probably only a few hours before eating it. Anyway, it spring here right now and there are a bunch of little pollitos running around which is nice. They are pretty cute and it make the annoying Roosters a little easier to deal with.  The next thing that is endearing about Paraguay is that no one really cares if their zipper is up or down here. Most people wear sweats or basketball shorts all the time, but some people will be in jeans and just have their zipper down, it must be a tradition here or something. It was pretty distracting at first, becasue sometimes during a lesson it is wide open. But you get used to stuff like that pretty quickly down here. The people here also take t...

Sounds like a fun week for everyone. And thank you for the advise, it is good and I will try to use it. To answeryopur questions, some people speak fast, but mostpeople have a pretty normalpace, which isnt too bad. It is only hard to understand older peoplen because they only have like 2-4 teeth and they dont open their mouths. Where I am at now, Guarani seems more like a hobby, they all learn it in school but the members just think it is fun to teach to the missionaries. But there are some parts of the mission where they speak pure Guarani. There are other places where it is portuguese and others more where it is other natie languageslike the Nivacle, they speaktheir own language. We givve our laundry to a ldy inthe ward, but we waqsh our own garments at our housein a bucket because she is not endowed and allowed to that

Hey Everyone, This week quite a bit happened, I will give you some of the highlights.This week started off with some pretty heavy lessons. We were at a member`s house for lunch and she told us that we should go visit a lady down the street, she is an investigator of the other missionaries in our area. We were told that she just had a misarriage. It is strange that someone would send a coupleof 19 year old boys to go console someone who just lost a baby, but because of our calling we were able to help. I don`t have any idea what losing a baby would be like, but because of the spirit that webrought to the lesson we were able to provide some words of comfort. I do not know a lot of Spanish, but I shared my short testimony of eternal families, that God has a plan for us and we will be able to see our entire familiy in Heaven. Hey everyone, I made it to Paraguay safely and I am doing well. I love it here already. Even though I cannot understand most of what is going on, I know it is where I am supossed to be. Everyone here is super nice and helps me with my Spanish whevever I need it. My trainer is Elder Ruiz from Lima Peru, he is a great guy. He has a pretty good English vocabulary so he helps me when I am stuck.  So a little about Paraguay. It is definitely third world and it is hot. The people here are super nice and they are always outside sitting in some shade. Out of all the lessons we have taught and member families we have visited so far, probably around 40 or so homes, I have only been inside 2. We teach lessons in their front yards sitting lawn chairs or something resembling lawn chairs. I dont have a lot of time, but I will tell you something funny that happened this week. Hey Family, I made it to the Mission last night around 11. Today I have been spending some time at the President's house eating breakfast and filling out papers. Everything is great here. I slept well and feel ready to serve. Love, Elder Seibert
