Hay Ranas in la Capilla

Hey Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well. This week we had a lot of work and we were very busy teaching lessons. There are a lot of part member families here that want to come back to church and have kids that need to be baptized. We spend a lot of time teaching the families togother which is really nice.

This week was also great becasue of General Conference, espècially becasue I got to watch it in English! I just wanted to share one thought that I had while watching it. Elder Andersen shared a quote from Elder Hales talk that he preparedbefore he died. Part of it said, "When we have faith, we are prepared to bein the presence of God." I like it becasue it is so simple, sometimes we make the gospel too complicated. That doesnt mean we dont have to do anything though, becasue the scriptures say that faith without works is dead, so we have to be active with our faith for it to be valid. Anyway, I just thought that I would share that.

One funny thing that happened this week wasright after conference it started raining like crazy, unbelievably hard and a frog about the size of both my hands jumped into the chapel and some people freaked out, but one of the eldersjust grabbed it and took some pictures with it andthen threw it oustside. Anyway, everything is going well down here!

Love,
Elder Seibert
