Hey Everyone!
Well the bad news is that this week our baptims fell through. The good news is that we rescheduled for the last weekend of this month and my companion and I both feel like it was the right thing to do in this case. Other than that, the teaching has continued on as normal. We have been finding some great people and in the next change in Piquete Cue we should see 3 baptisms almost for sure.
This week in Priesthood during our lesson the teacher told a story which is a little long, but the moral was simple "If you want to be happy, be happy. Its that easy" I have thought about that a lot this week, and I have thought a lot about happiness and joy on the mission. What really brings people happiness and joy? Lately during lessons I have been focusing more on how when we live the teachings of Jesus Christ, we will find joy. The Commandments dont exist to limit our happiness. They exist becasue God knows that when we follow them we will have the most possible joy in this life. If you don't feel happy, re-evaluate what you are doing and try to fix it. Remeber "...existen los hombres para que tengan gozo." 2 Nephi 2:25.
Love,
Elder Seibert
